Amanda Strube

Amanda "Mandy" Strube grew up in Georgia and has been horse crazy all her life. She was always asking her dad for a horse and riding lessons. He thought it was a phase his young girl would grow out of. At age sixteen, he gave her a choice, he would buy her a car or a horse. She took the obvious choice and bought her first horse, Smooth Sailing "Rajah." Together they showed on the local hunter circuit and showed them that Arabians can do hunters. In 2007 to 2011 Mandy rode for MTSU's equestrian team and showed in IHSA. Now several years later, Mandy balances being in the Tennessee Army National Guard, a full time job and raising her daughter Piper. She currently shows in the jumpers with her Holsteiner gelding- Roux and show hunters with her OTTB Scottys Folly. Even though Mandy is no longer a trainer or professional she is happy to see Lucky Fox riders shine in the ring.
